Best time of the year. Talk about football, talk about whatever!
... if you guys or the Bucs can take out the Cowboys, we Pack fans would appreciate it :).
you may not get a chance to lose to the Colts after JACKSONVILLE comes to town!
Was pretty crummy tonight. Garrard was unimpressive in the extreme. If Tomlin kicked a couple of extra points, it's a different game.
If the weather is halfway decent, New England wins next week by at least two touchdowns.

and would have continued crushing them had the refs not given Pittsburgh 1st and goal for a bogus pass interference penalty on 4th and goal when it clearly should have a facemask/hands to the face call on the Pittsburgh WR.
if you think Jax was crummy, do you think they're going to have 2 bad games in a row? I don't. doesn't necessarily mean they'll win, but the patsies ain't beating them by 14.
Jax winning and in command for most of the game only to see the lead slip away and then Garrard's 30 yard run on 4th down to win the game was huge. Sloppy play on both teams and I don't give the cats much of a chance against the Cheaters next week.
Sea/Was game was weird, Seattle in control for the first half, then Washington scores twice quickly to take the lead and were looking at going up more. Missed figgie and then it was all Weahawks in a blowout.
Can't wait for tomorrow's games!

Among the highlights, Premier League leaders Arsenal escape Burnley with a pretty convincing 2-0 win, Everton crashes-out at home to Leage 1 Oldham, and Pompey earn the benefit of the most ludicrous send-off decision I've seen in my nearly 42-years of life and escape Ipswich 1-0.
Oh, and Man U and Chelsea won, too.
Man, I love the FA Cup tournament...

And the Giants aren't off to a dream start, to say the least.
I've had better Sunday mornings.

A huge win for the Giants (my dad is thrilled) and it's not as if Luton didn't have some, erm, added motivation for this particular match seeing as how the club is in administration.

Oh my God, how much fun was that?
LET'S GO GIANTS!!!!

Bring on the Boys.
Great win today. Defense was awesome, Eli was good, the ground game was effective later on.

that's all I've got to say.
well, that and "best of luck!"
No one took me up on:
"I'll bet you ten dollars Eli wins a playoff game before Rivers, Merriman and Kaeding."
It might only end up being by a few hours, but Rivers is off to an inauspicious start. Lucky for him, Tennessee might be done scoring.

... and I'd have to think that on the same weekend is effectively a tie.
Peeve: Even in the playoffs, the NFL is continuing to drop west coast teams into the early slot for no logical reason. There are four time slots for NFL games next weekend. Only one of them would have a team playing before noon in their home town. Naturally, that's when the Chargers are playing the Colts.
They want the Pats in primetime, so that means CBS gets stuck with the 1:00 PM game for it's other one.

Next week
NE -11.5 Jax
INDY -9 San Diego
GREEN BAY -9 Seattle
DALLAS -7.5 Giants
I think I'd lay the points in the AFC games, and take them in the NFC ones.

not sure I'd take any of them straight up though. could see any winning, but none seem too likely. If Eli lets Romo be the screwup, the Giants can win. And I've said before, I think Jax is the 3rd best team in the league, so I wouldn't be at all surprised to see them upset the overconfident Pats. And I don't think GB's as good as their record, but Seattle has played down to every opponent pretty much and hasn't played (well) against a single good team this year...I wouldn't bet on any game they play. San Diego somewhat like Seattle, though they're probably both a better team and have played better, but started off very slowly against the mediocre Titans last week. I'd probably put them least likely to win of the four road teams, though they're certainly more than capable (and already have beaten the Colts this year, though that was admittedly a very strange game).
College football is stupid.
I'm allowed to say that since I proved I know more than all of you with my winning pick set.

since I don't care about college sports. I forgot the game was tonight actually, looks like I'm not missing a thing.
Who was in it again? Who won (is winning)?

... but since it appears that holding and pass interfernce were legalized this game (for both teams, though LSU got away with far more), so I'm not sure it should really count.

24 Hours till kickoff.
Go Blue!
