It Really Is A Beautiful Game

I have been tremendously neglectful in covering the various happenings in the English Premier League and the Champions League as well. But let it be noted that despite a tumultuous season--one that has seen the departure of a legendary club skipper and threats of players departing for other clubs--Chelsea will be playing in the Champions League final.

Wonderful news. Won't it be sweet beyond measure to beat Manchester United in the final now that Liverpool has been disposed of?

If Riise didn't score on our own goal, we win in regular time at the Bridge. Liverpool need a winger and a striker, and I feel like we can challenge for the league next year. We're right there.

As it is, I hope Chelsea win the double. I'm sick thinking about United strolling to the double, and I think they're gonna. If they split, I guess that's alright. If I could pick, Chelsea for the league, ManU for the big eared trophy.

But Grant is weak and I just don't see ManU dropping points in the league, and I feel they've got the edge in Moscow too. I just think they're better.

If there's any good that came from yesterday, I don't think Liverpool stood a good chance against United in Moscow. We just can't beat them.

Hope Liverpool's ownership gets sorted over the offseason. The collection of talent at Anfield is ready to challenge for the EPL and in Europe for the next half decade. It just needs the right backing.

Well, Gareth Barry's an England international and he's versatile. Sounds like a decent offer. He'd certainly improve the side.

I just hope the offer doesn't mess up Villa's mojo and they can nick fifth from the blue half (Everton).

I have absolutely no love for Chelski, but man oh man do I hope they can steal this from ManU tomorrow.

The garbage that Wigan calls a pitch might slow the Ronaldo show. Hopefully Wigan can find a way to draw it 1-1 or 2-2. Chelsea should roll Bolton at the Bridge.
