New England Patriots humor by Wubbies World

I got an e-mail from my Dad this morning and he sent this bit of humor. I know some Colts fans won't like it, but it is not meant to be insulting. Please take it for the humor it was intended.

Peyton Manning in Heaven

Peyton Manning, after living a full life, died. When he got to heaven, God was showing him around. They came to a modest little house with a faded Colts flag in the window.

"This house is yours for eternity, Peyton," said God. "This is very special; not everyone gets a house up here." Peyton felt special, indeed, and walked up to his house.

On his way up the porch, he noticed another house just around the corner. It was a 3-story mansion with a Silver and blue sidewalk, a 50-foot tall flagpole with an enormous Patriots logo flag, and in every window, a New England Patriots towel.

Peyton looked at God and said "God, I'm not trying to be ungrateful, but I have a question. I was an all-pro QB, I hold many NFL records, and I even went to the Hall of Fame."

God said "So what's your point Peyton?"

"Well, why does Tom Brady get a better house than me?"

God chuckled, and said: "Peyton, that's not Tom's house, it's mine."

I hope you all have a great day, and win or lose, I hope Indy and Payton the best - honestly. I actually give Indy the edge in todays game.

Nice pick, Brady.

again, by Dienekes

I pick Colts and Saints. or Colts and Bears. as long as Peyton, Marvin, and Tony get their ring, doesn't matter to me who the NFC's sacrificial lamb is.

And I was almost starting to like you.

wait till next year Cowboys fan, I'm sure I'll enrage you further ;)

It's almost painful to watch them on offense. As much as I hate the Cowboys (to name my least favorite team) at least they put on a good show

guess your ladies in Denver are probably having a grand old time now, huh?

hey, by the way, what't Chanp covering today?...or the last couple weeks for that matter?

especially before Cutler got the starting job. Champ has been getting over Darrent Williams death the past few weeks though (I'm still relieved we didn't make the playoffs this year).

your team sucks, and is not in the post season...you watch another team desparately hoping any team playing them will beat them, said team keeps on winning. You.keep.watching.

you might want to think about building model airplanes or church on Sundays. :)

Let me use small words so even a Bears fan could understand. I'm watching the Saints, they happen to be playing against a BORING team.

might be watching...skating, or something like that.

I understand though, it must be hard to be a fan of a team like Denver. Keep your head up...baseball is around the corner.

hockey maybe by Darin H

but if the Broncos were playing, I wouldn't be checking a message board (don't have a laptop and the computer room is pretty far away from the TV room)

when my team was playing, even when I do buy a laptop (probably later this year). I don't know how the Bronco fans do it, there's usually a long thread on the board.

I'm not gonna bicker over football. have fun with your Sunday

LAISSEZ LES BONS TEMPS ROULER!!!

has been pretty attrocious in this game. considering I actually like the Pats despite my hatred for all other things Boston, and the obnoxiousness of their fans, I'm really starting to dislike them for all the stuff they've gotten away with today. its a joke that they didn't get called for a single penalty until about 4 minutes left in the half, and especially that they weren't called for pass interference on the 2nd and goal play with about 20 seconds left where sanders pulled down dallas clark's arm (and the idiot announcer praises the DB for getting his hand in between the reciever's arms - after multiple replays). that said, I can't complain too much when they convert like 18 4th downs, good grief. but this has been a pretty close game despite the score (basically apart from the INT return, and the lucky bounce on maroney's fumble), and the colts get the ball first to start the 2nd half. so I still expect a great close to this one, and I'll cheer for either of these teams over obamarama's bears.

correction by Dienekes

ok, not ALL other things Boston, since the B's used to be my favorite hockey team (mainly for Ray Bourque, but also Cam Neely and others), and I do like Larry Bird. but I don't care for the Celtics otherwise, and the Red Sox did the impossible on their run to a title a few years ago: made me hate a team more than the Yankees.

evened out by Dienekes

with the no call on the Colts in the 2nd half, so all's well that ends well, or something.

congrats Colts! and like I predicted, heckuva finish.

That by hoyasaxa

Was. Awesome.

So can we put to bed the Peyton chokes in big games thing now? Seriously, what a second half. Biggest championship game comeback ever. Couldn't have been a better ending than Brady nearly getting picked by Bob Sanders to give the Colts another shot, and then after they took advantage of the extra opportunity Brady throws the pick. Delightful.

yes! by Dienekes

might be the best playoff game I've seen since the Niners-Packers game in 1998 (I think). been a couple great Super Bowls too, of course, but a lot of those really only became great in the last few minutes. and that Niners game had a lot in common with this one, with Steve Young finally beating the Pack in the playoffs.

I really didn't want either team to win :) Manning brings them back from that 18 point deficit (boo, gonna get too much talk about that now) and then Brady throws a pick to end the game (yea, knocks him down a peg). But at least it was entertaining to watch.

I can honestly say that I feel torn about who to cheer for. This used to be Bears territory for many years. With the Colts' recent surge, the state has finally gotten a team it can rally around. With both going to the Super Bowl, a mini civil war may break out. Will definitely be interesting to watch.

_In a world full of twists and turns, the ultimate twist...is a straight line._

N Indiana and INDY this week on biz...I can't wait!...Just be funseeing clients and jaw-jacking...

That I made the rest of the crew look like ESPN's talent pool.
